The challenge
We were tasked with providing a sustainable solar lighting solution capable of operating at higher-than-standard output levels while maintaining reliable performance throughout the darker winter months in the UK. The selected product was specified to ensure consistent operation, maximising energy efficiency and reliability despite reduced daylight hours.
The HDS solution
We supplied our UK-tested Eco Ray solar lantern. The design calculations met the required standards, and the client was pleased with the Eco Ray's performance and long-term energy savings.
