Managing Director
Philip studied Electrical Engineering at Salford Polytechnic and brings more than 35 years of electrical and lighting experience. His work spans major infrastructure, lighting design software and control systems. He leads HDS’s technical direction and senior project oversight.
Accounts Director
Susan holds a BA (Hons) in Economics and Sociology from the University of Manchester and brings extensive experience in finance and credit control within the UK lighting sector. She oversees accounts, commercial administration and financial coordination.
Manager of Special Project Design
Sam leads the special project design function, coordinating complex and bespoke lighting schemes, technical reviews and project interfaces from concept through delivery.
Lighting Product Manager
Jake’s background spans technical retail marketing, lighting design and project management. He supports product selection, technical enquiries, business development and sales. He holds a BA (Hons) in Sound Engineering and also co-owns an independent music label.
Section 278 and Section 38 Manager
Tom trained as a highway lighting engineer and has more than ten years of lighting design experience. He manages HDS’s adoptable highway lighting team, working with housing developers, consultants and local authorities.
