The challenge
Overhead power lines and nearby ecological areas constrained the lighting layout for the proposed Section 38 residential development.
Our approach
HDS produced the highway lighting design using detailed electrical calculations and Lighting Reality modelling. Column positions and light distribution were coordinated around the overhead infrastructure, with attention to spill towards sensitive areas.
The outcome
The design package addressed the highway lighting requirements and recorded the measures used to manage the site’s electrical and ecological constraints.
